Employee of the Month
Brian Wiles, Technical Project Manager
Every month Enquire recognizes an employee for their outstanding contribution to the organization. The Employee of the Month program identifies an individual who achieves excellence in their field and goes above and beyond as an employee. This employee is selected by their peers and management via a survey that is sent out throughout the company.
Please help us congratulate Enquire’s November Employee of the Month, Brian Wiles, Technical Project Manager.
Q: Please give a brief background (where you’re from, what your hobbies are, etc.)
Brian: I grew up in Northern Virginia, about 15 minutes outside of Washington D.C., and went to a small college in West Virginia on a swim scholarship. I moved out here to Colorado in 2015 with my wife and two dogs. In my free time I like to compete in endurance races (think marathons and Ironman races) and make award winning beer.
Q: Before Enquire, what did you do for a living/where did you work?
Brian: Before Enquire, I spent the majority of my professional career in D.C. working for Custom and Border Protection. I was the only analyst supporting the construction, maintenance and repair of the Southern Border Fence.
Q: How long have you been working with Enquire?
Brian: I have been with Enquire for about six months.
Q: Can you describe your role at Enquire?
Brian: As the technical project manager, I assist clients with any kind of new integrations with the CRM and I help manage the roadmaps for new EnquireLEADS features.
Q: How has Enquire helped you in your career development?
Brian: Here at Enquire I have learned to trust my instincts and have been given the opportunities to do so.
Q: What has been your favorite project at Enquire so far?
Brian: As challenging as it was, completing the Yardi integration for the call center has been my favorite project thus far. It gave me a sense of accomplishment (and relief) when it was completed.
Q: What is your favorite part about working for Enquire?
Brian: The people. Everyone here is super smart and motivated. It makes me want to work harder and learn more to keep up.
Q: If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Brian: I’d be a police officer. I think it would be a physically and mentally challenging job. I think being a cop for a day would give me more respect for the job and the people who do it.
Q: If you could have one superpower, which would you choose?
Brian: To heal really quickly, like Wolverine
Q: Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
Brian: I’ve held an Olympic torch (before the 1996 Olympics).
